I am a mother of four (daughters),  writer, artist, women’s health advocate, and graduate student.

In 2005 I traveled in a tri-state area to interview women who had chosen midwives practicing the Midwives Model of Care about their childbirth experiences.  I was curious: how did their relationships with midwives effect their birth experiences?  Mothers & Midwives: women’s stories of childbirth is a compilation of stories representative of what all of the women interviewed shared.

Now at Johns Hopkins University, pursuing my graduate degree in Writing, I am expanding my writing portfolio to include profiles, creative nonfiction, feature articles and much more.
